Telwin Technology 238 XT CE/MPGE 

Technology 238 XT is a direct current (DC) inverter welding machine for MMA and TIG.

Telwin Technology 238 XT is rugged and compact, making it ideal for use on the job site or for on-site work; the shock-absorbing bumpers and external structure are designed to absorb and resist impact. The practical aluminium case facilitates the safe transport and storage of the welder and accessories.

The welder has been designed by Telwin to meet the needs of all operators who are looking for a reliable, durable and high performance equipment that can withstand harsh working conditions (IP23). Technology 238 XT is equipped with thermostatic, over-voltage, under-voltage and over-current protection and, thanks to the MPGE protection, can be powered with the aid of a motor-generator (10kw recommended for use at full power).

Telwin Technology 238 XT CE/MPGE has been designed to use all types of electrodes available on the market: Rutile, Basic, Acid, including electrodes with ALUMINIUM core and electrodes with CELLULOSE coating. The welder develops a maximum welding current of 200 A and has a duty cycle of 140 A at 60%, which allows intensive work even with large diameter electrodes.

Hot-Start and Arc-Force devices are adjustable and optimised according to the type of coated electrode used.

Technology 238 XT can weld with TIG process with scratch ignition, equipping the generator with a TIG torch with a gas valve.
