GYS PROTIG 161DC

Protig 161 DC is an inverter TIG welding machine for iron, stainless steel and cast iron welding. It is possible to select the ignition mode between HF (high frequency) and LIFT.

The machine is compact and easy to carry out, suitable for work on site thanks to the solid rubber protections. With a maximum current of 160A and a duty cycle of 105° at 60%, Protig 161DC can be used for different applications, for private use and excellent for repairs, installations and light maintenance.

Protig 161 DC has the classical Tig settings:

- 2T/4T

- 4T LOG: 2 welding currents can be set and controlled with the torch button.

- Pre-gas

- Slope up

- Pulse frequency

- Slope down

- Pulsed

- SPOT : fast and precise spot welding.

Protig 161 DC can weld with the MMA process and it can use basic and rutile electrodes from 1.6 up to Ø 4 mm. It has the Pulse MMA function to facilitate welding in the vertical position.

Anti-sticking, Hot Start and Arc Force are adjustable.

The machine has the possibility to save 10 programs for each process.

GYS Protig 161DC is supplied with :
