TELWIN TECNICA 188 MPGE

Telwin Tecnica 188 MPGE is a single-phase inverter welding machine ideal for MMA coated electrode process or TIG DC process (no aluminium).

Tecnica 188 MPGE is a welding power source for do-it-yourself and light maintenance. It is small in size and at just over 5 kg in weight, it is easily transportable.

It allows the use of a wide variety of coated electrodes: rutile, stainless steel, cast iron and also electrodes with basic coating, which allow greater penetration and mechanical strength of the weld.

Tecnica 188 MPGE is recommended for use with motogenerators; the model guarantees high performance with unstable power supplies thanks to the multiple MPGE protections: waveform control device, input surge filter, oscillation stabilisation.

Minimum recommended motor-generator power: 6 kw.

Telwin Tecnica 188 MPGE generates a maximum welding current of 150 A and has a 60% duty cycle of 100A.

Automatic Arc-force, Hot-start and Anti-stick devices.

Thermostatic, over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current protection. Compatible for use with motor generator (+/- 15%). High stability of welding current to supply voltage variations.

Robust, elevated construction against dust, water and dirt

Equipped with display to show the set welding current

Direct current TIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel is possible by simply connecting a TIG torch (optional, see recommended accessories below) equipped with a gas management valve; lift stricking.
