3M Speedglas G5-01 welding mask with VARIABLE COLOUR self-darkening protection filter

Speedglas G5-01 is the latest generation of welding and grinding helmet made by 3M. This version with its slim profile and ergonomic design allows the welder to carry out any type of welding even in the tightest of spaces.

The G5-01 mask offers a high degree of protection against radiation, sparks and splashes thanks to its opaque design, respiratory protection thanks to the Adflo respirator and a wide range of optional additional protection. The Adflo respirator in combination with the new air duct design offers the highest respiratory protection class (TH3) for electro-ventilated systems.

The VC (Variable Colour) version is equipped with variable colour technology that allows the operator to choose from 3 colour options the one with the best contrast.

Large clear protective visor (104 x 170 mm) is curved, with excellent central and peripheral vision

Duct system to direct airflow to the face or visor

Connection to the 3M Connected Equipment App via Bluetooth to access additional functionality and statistics.

The new Speedglas 3M G5-01 welding helmet has more adjustable features than ever before: in addition to the classic sensitivity and delay levels, you can customise the colour seen through the welding filter, the direction of airflow and the level of protection.

Adjustable air flow

With the new system of channels in the helmet, the welder can decide to direct the flow of air towards the face, the visor or a position in between, in addition to the amount of air coming from the upper intake or the two side ones. Greater control of the settings to minimise flows that could dry out the nose and eyes.
